Bored of nuts, eggs and protein shakes when you’re on the hunt for a quick protein hit?
Here’s a super-quick combo you can knock up in about a minute, and it ticks both the healthy and tasty boxes.
Good for breakfast, as a healthy dessert, or a pre- or post-gym workout.
All you need to do is combine the below:
- Total 0% fat Greek yoghurt
- Peaches – I usually get the tinned variety but you can also get this type of thing in jars Biona organic peach halves
- Cacao and tangerine granola by The Food Doctor - lush and much healthier than most granola
It’s quite thick once you combine the above, so I like to loosen it up with a bit of coconut milk – I use Alpro Coconut Drink which works rather nicely.
For an even tastier but more indulgent version I like to use Rachel’s greek-style yoghurt with coconut instead of Total’s proper greek yoghurt, but I’m afraid you don’t get the protein benefits that way. Your choice.
